Taking into consideration the extraordinary emergency situation caused by the coronavirus, our Company supported the procurement of special equipment of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Central Hospital and the University Educating Hospital with a donation of HUF 15 million, while the operation of the Kazincbarcika town hospital with a donation of HUF 5 million.
On top of that, BorsodChem donated nearly 20,000 litres of its own-produced bleach for disinfection purposes to health and social care institutions and local governments of the surrounding settlements in order to mitigate the risks caused by the epidemic.
In addition, BorsodChem has so far donated approximately 130,000 pieces of face masks to local governments of the settlements that host the Company’s industrial sites and our key partners.
