In 2019, the GyártásTrend technology magazine announced the Factory of The Year competition for the 5th time with the aim - based on complex criteria - to find the manufacturing company of the year and the winners of the announced categories, who shape the domestic industry, the employer culture and create value year by year in the domestic market. The complex Factory of The Year award was awarded separately to the best companies with annual net sales revenues under HUF 3 billion, between HUF 3 and 10 billion, and over HUF 10 billion.
Companies with a Hungarian production unit could enter the competition in 9 categories and the Factory of the Year award could be won by the production unit that submitted a valid application in several categories and won at least one category.
Our Company was able to submit the objective and figure-based application forms by the end of November 2019 and the professional partner of the competition, i.e. Process Solutions Group evaluated the 57 category applications received and compiled a list of the best companies.
In addition to the most effective production support processes and the energy-efficiency category victory, BorsodChem Zrt. was also chosen as the overall winner of the Factory of The Year in the category of annual net sales revenues of over HUF 10 billion.
