Since the publication of our 2017-2018 Sustainability Report, we have achieved significant results in the operation of our Company. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was difficult for all of us, we managed to maintain our production and continue our developments within the framework of our ten-year investment program, which is also internationally outstanding. In addition, we have made efforts and measures in several areas that have gained widespread social and community recognition. We also provide an overview of these results for our Readers in our report.
We aim to highlight that our Company has committed itself, with another decisive step, to sustainable operations by joining the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) following the Wanhua Chemical Group. As before, we report our compliance with the principles set out in the UNGC, as well as on the focus areas of our Company's sustainability strategy related to the global Sustainable Development Goals.
The Sustainability Report comprehensively demonstrates our commitment to environmental, social, and economic sustainability, illustrating how strongly we focus on our environmental impacts and aiming to continuously reduce them while gradually expanding our production. However, sustainability is our common concern because, as we read in the introduction to the report, "we must make a joint effort to reach the climate protection and sustainability goals, and every person on earth must participate in it".
